Brink partners with universities around the world to assist students interested in writing, editing, and publishing careers. Through these partnerships, we strive to provide students with an unparalleled opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the industry and begin a career in publishing.
Partnership Goals
Providing all people equal access to the benefits of storytelling is central to Brink’s mission. By seeking partnerships with universities that have diverse populations, we hope to make publishing more accessible to students who otherwise may not have many opportunities in the field. Our university partnerships and internships help provide publishing opportunities and valuable connections for all students, regardless of background or experience.
Partnership Details
Students at partnered universities will have the opportunity to gain hands-on editing and publishing experience through our internships. We offer two internship cycles per year—spring and fall. Students can earn college credit for their work as interns, and we also offer a small stipend of $300 to each intern. Our internships are conducted entirely online, so students from anywhere in the world can participate as long as they have access to WiFi. Feel free to browse our internship page for more information.
Additionally, partner universities will have access to exclusive Brink resources and services. These exciting professional experiences range from career roundtables and mock interview exercises run by our team of industry professionals to exclusive lectures and online material.

If your school has already partnered with us, you have the opportunity to compete for an exclusive internship position that will prepare you for a publishing and editing career.
